SR Technics, a Swiss MRO service provider, announced that it has received base maintenance approval from the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA), on behalf of EASA, for a range of cabin modifications services for Boeing B777 at Zurich Airport.

Following the approval, SR Technics will offer major turnkey cabin modifications and embodiment projects for the B777 and base maintenance support.

Michael Sattler, Head of Aircraft Services at SR Technics, said: “Getting approval for B777 maintenance and cabin modifications is part of a broader strategy to continuously enhance our capabilities.”

Philippine Airlines (PAL), a flag carrier of the Philippines, selected SR Technics to provide total engine solution requirements for the carrier’s A340-300s, with AerFin (UK) provisioning of CFM56-5C4 engines and spares.

The service for the B777 is scheduled to begin in October 2016.
