UIA aircraft hits truck while taxiing
On October 31, 2017, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) Boeing 737-800 hit a truck of the catering company Sky Food Service while taxiing at the Boryspil International Airport in Kyiv.
Igor Humennyi, who was the passenger of the plane, informed about the incident on his Facebook page.
“I’m trying to fly, but something went wrong at the moment. There is a car under the aircraft wing, ” Igor Humennyi wrote on his Facebook page.
The flight PS025 was scheduled to fly from Kyiv to Kharkiv. Because of the incident, the flight was delayed and the passengers were asked to board a backup aircraft, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty informs.
According to the press service of the airline, UIA has launched an investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
