BOC Aviation will lease seven A320Neo for Chongqing Airlines
BOC Aviation Limited, Singapore based global aircraft operating leasing company have announced that it will lease seven Airbus A320Neo aircraft to Chongqing Airlines, with all aircraft scheduled for delivery in 2018.
“We are pleased to welcome Chongqing Airlines as a new airline customer, and to support the growth in its fleet as we deliver the first of its new technology A320Neo aircraft,” said Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOC Aviation.
“China is an important market for BOC Aviation and it continues to show robust demand growth.” “BOC Aviation is well-placed to support growth in the Chinese air travel market with our new technology aircraft orderbook,” Mr. Martin added. “Chongqing Airlines’ choice of the popular A320Neo narrowbody aircraft aligns with our focus on investing in the most technologically advanced aircraft models.”
Chongqing Airlines was jointly established by China Southern Airlines (ZNH) and Chongqing City Transportation and Development Investment Group. Based in Chongqing, the airline operates flights to over 40 destinations at home and abroad.
