Boeing is planning to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia to provide support and training to the kingdom’s air force, Reuters reports.

Saudi Arabia is in discussions with U.S. to increase their operations, since the kingdom is in the works to localize 50% of its military industry by 2030.

“Hopefully we will be announcing other MoUs with other big American companies,” Khateeb told Reuters on the sidelines of the 2018 Saudi-U.S. CEO Forum in New York.

Saudi Arabia has already signed 36 memorandums valued at $20 billion in new business partnerships, including companies like Google and the oil giant Saudi Aramco for cloud services. Cooperation agreement between Aramco and Raytheon was signed for national security services.
