Iran companies to buy 40 Sukhoi Superjet-100
The Russian United Aircraft Corporation signed memorandums of intent to sell 40 passenger Sukhoi Superjet-100 to Iran Air Tours and Aseman Airlines, said the president of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Alexander Rubtsov during the Eurasia Airshow 2018 in Turkey.
"So far, we have signed two agreements of intent with two Iranian airlines Iran Air Tours and Aseman Airlines with each of 20 Sukhoi Superjet aircraft in the SSJ100R version," he announced to RIA Novosti. The first deliveries will be made in 2020.
Rubtsov added that the agreement should turn into a „solid“ contract before the end of 2018. The catalog price of one such SSJ100R is about $52 million.
