Three people are dead and eight injured as Cessna plane crashes into people on the ground after a failed landing attempt.
On October 14, 2018, a single engine Cessna smashed into a group of people near the airfield, leaving three peole - two adults and a child - dead and eight injured. It is believed that the accident happened as Cessna pilot was trying to lift off after an unsuccessful attempt to land.
The accident took place on the Wasserkuppe mountain near the city of Fulda in Hesse (Central German state), a site which is popular among light aircraft and gliders enthusiasts.
