Qatar Airways Introduces New Jet Lag Fighting Airbus A350-1000

Qatar Airways is well known for its high-quality service and having customers experience as their first priority. Recently they have introduced new Airbus A350-1000. The adjustments will make the flight for the passenger way more comforting and reduce the jet-lag.

Jet lag is a common problem for everyone flying long distances. It might be caused not only by the time zone change but also by an intensive lightening in the cabin, uncomfortable seats, too high humidity and many other reasons. Qatar Airways took a challenge to fight these inconveniences.

The aircraft has 16-million of ambient anti-jet lag LED lights installed. It makes the cabin of aircraft lighter and creates an impression of more natural light. It can even imitate a sunrise and a sunset letting travelers’ consciousness to adapt easier to the time changes. Furthermore, this Airbus A350-1000 is capable of maintaining a 6000 feet humidity which is currently the lowest cabin altitude in the market.  According to the experts, this is an exceptionally important feature because too high humidity causes difficulties breathing and weariness. One more major improvement involves air supply system. The Air in the cabin is changing every two-three minutes and is filtered by the brand new technology. The airline says that this will increase air quality by at least 20%.

Despite all the major changes, there are many minor but very pleasant surprises for the passengers. It includes wider seats of 18 inches with extra room for the head, also more spacious overhead compartments and the quietest possible twin-aisle possible cabin.

But this is only changes introduced for the economy class. Business class can enjoy even more improvements. One of them is the first in the history twin beds available which let the traveler have an even more comfortable nap during long-haul flights.

Qatar Airways has ordered 37 Airbus A350-1000 to complement their fleet. The first one already had its first flight London-Doha last weekend.

The CEO of Qatar Airways his Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker expressed his joy over airline's newest aircraft: “We are truly thrilled to welcome to Doha the newest and most technologically advanced commercial aircraft in the world, the very first Airbus A350-1000."
