Middle Eastern Airlines welcomes their first A321neo
On June 10 Lebanese carrier Middle Eastern Airlines welcomed its first A321neo aircraft into the airline’s fleet. The airline has 10 aircraft of the type to be delivered over the coming years.
Middle Eastern Airlines’ A321neo is carrying registration of T7-ME1 and is powered by Pratt & Whitney PurePower PW1100G-JM geared turbofan engines. The airplane is configured in two-class layout with 28 seats in business and further 132 seats located in economy class.

The newest MEA’s aircraft will be equipped with an advanced Panasonic In-flight entertainment system featuring Touchscreen HD monitors, USB connections and laptop charging point. Additionally, the A321neo is equipped with Panasonic’s next-generation Wi-Fi technology offering up to 20 times faster connectivity when compared to previous generations.
Middle Eastern Airlines’ Chairman and Director General Mohamad El Hout commented: “We are happy to partner again with Panasonic Avionics. MEA’s new aircraft is equipped with the state-of-the-art inflight entertainment systems, including WiFi connectivity for the first time, reflecting the company’s ambition to provide customers with the best products the industry has to offer.”
