From 23 to 27 January 2012, Canadian Ranger patrols from Akulivik, Puvirnituq and Inukjuak conducted Search and Rescue (SAR) exercises and Arctic winter survival training with the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) 413 Squadron from 14 Wing in Greenwood Nova-Scotia (CC130 Hercules). These courses are recommended for all search and rescue professionals regardless of specialty or search terrain. The main purpose of this training was to practice coordination between ground and air SAR. It was at 2012, but, trust as, worth to watch it!
