The tragical incident is not the first one this year in Iran. Less than a month ago Iranian ATR-72 crashed in the southern part of the country, sending all 66 passengers aboard to death. However, Iran is a popular route from the United Arab Emirates due to having safer air space than other Neighboring countries such as Syria and Iraq.
