AerCap leased, purchased and sold 90 aircraft in Q2 2018
AerCap announced on July 9, 2018, its most significant business transactions during the second quarter of 2018. Throughout the period, the aircraft leasing giant signed financing transactions worth $2.7 billion.
The list of AerCap’s major operations comprised signing lease agreements for 40 aircraft, including eight wide-body and 32 narrow-body planes, and purchasing 20 aircraft, including 15 Airbus A320neo Family jets, one A350 and four Boeing 787-9s.
AerCap also executed transactions for 30 aircraft, including 21 A320 Family jets, one A330, one A340, as well as, five Boeing 737NGs, one 767 and one 777-300ER from its owned portfolio.
The aircraft leasing company continues to manage five planes that were sold from its owned portfolio during the quarter. In addition, a portfolio of 22 managed planes was sold.
