The largest narrow-body ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance) operator in the world Avion Express keeps demonstrating strong growth. According to its latest results, fleet expansion in the first half of 2018 became the driving force of the increase in the production results of the company.

In late July 2018, Avion Express’ fleet set a new production record of over 250 block hours flown per day. The recent day-to-day result is more than 25% higher than the previous milestone set last year. All in all, during H1 2018 the company’s fleet – 18 Airbus A320 family jets – have flown almost 22,000 block hours, which accounts for a 17% year-to-year growth.

Production growth reflects the overall growth of the company in 2018. Avion Express CEO Darius Kajokas comments, “We have expanded our fleet by more than 10% since last year’s summer season. While growing our fleet and at the same time growing as a company, we are keeping our dedication to deliver quality and reliable services to our clients”.

This summer Avion Express started operations for SunExpress in Antalya, Turkey. The company also continues its partnership with Thomas Cook and its subsidiary Condor – 12 Airbus A320 family aircraft leased from Avion Express are flying for these clients both in the UK and Germany.
