The New Midsize Airplane by Boeing already has two names, the Boeing NMA and Boeing 797, but no green light for (ever) coming to reality. From the drawing board to the first delivery, planes tend to change several working titles. Some of them never come to reality at all, which leaves plenty of working titles floating around, without an actual aircraft to carry the name.
