ALSIM is pleased to announce, during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026, that Cirrus Aviation, based in Florida, is among the first flight training organizations to select the new AL3X simulator. This acquisition marks an important milestone for the new simulator and reflects the confidence that Cirrus Aviation continues to place in ALSIM’s training solutions.

The AL3X simulator is developed around the popular Garmin® G3X Touch™ flight deck, the AL3X delivers an immersive and highly realistic training experience in a compact, cost-effective platform that complies with FAA AATD standards. Designed for flight schools operating emerging 4th generation training aircraft fleets, the simulator enables students to build essential flying skills while maximizing training efficiency and reducing operational costs.

The AL3X combines ALSIM’s proven simulation expertise with a modern cockpit environment that accurately replicates the systems and procedures found in today’s emerging 4th generation training aircraft. Its compact footprint allows training organizations to integrate advanced simulation into their programs without requiring significant facility space or infrastructure investments.

Powered by a flight model using the renowned Rotax® 912 engine, the AL3X accurately reflects the performance and handling characteristics found across a broad range of emerging 4th generation training aircraft, including the Tecnam P-Mentor, Pipistrel Alpha Trainer, Sling®, Bristell®, Van’s® RV series, or Evektor Harmony. An optional aircraft parachute system further enhances training capabilities by allowing pilots to safely rehearse critical emergency scenarios that cannot be replicated in the aircraft.

“We are thrilled to be among the first flight training organizations to introduce the new ALSIM AL3X into our training program,” says David Cattin, President of Cirrus Aviation.

“Our long-standing partnership with ALSIM, built on trust and a shared commitment to high-quality pilot training, made the AL3X a natural choice for our training fleet. Featuring genuine Garmin G3X Touch avionics, the AL3X will strengthen our emerging 4th generation aircraft program. We look forward to welcoming the simulator to Cirrus Aviation next year.”

Souleymane Sarré, Sales Manager at ALSIM, adds: “We are delighted to further strengthen our partnership with Cirrus Aviation through the acquisition of the new AL3X simulator. As one of the first training organizations worldwide to adopt this innovative new platform, Cirrus Aviation continues to demonstrate its commitment to delivering modern, high-quality training solutions to its students. Featuring genuine Garmin G3X Touch and GNX375 avionics, the AL3X offers a unique level of realism for flight training on emerging 4th generation aircraft and reflects our shared dedication to innovation and training excellence. We are grateful for Cirrus Aviation’s continued trust in ALSIM and proud to support the ongoing growth of its aviation training programs.”
