Embraer is sure to set tongues wagging having teased a mysterious aircraft in a new online video, ahead of what the Brazilian manufacturer describes as an “extraordinary” announcement.
A short video in a social media post, uploaded by Embraer on February 13, 2025, shows the silhouette of an aircraft with spooky, atmospheric lighting adding to the suspense.
In the 17-second video, bright spotlights shine through the aircraft windows while a ticking clock and increasingly loud sound effects ramp up the extreme intensity.
In the post, Embraer writes: “Something exciting is coming—and you won’t want to miss it. For those who expect the extraordinary, this moment is for you.”
Clicking on the link within the social media post takes visitors to a webpage where Embraer invites them to register and attend a virtual event on February 24, 2026, at 16:00 GMT.

“Embraer is thrilled to share an announcement that marks a new era of private aviation. For those who expect the extraordinary, this moment is for you,” wrote Embraer.
According to AIN, at Embraer’s investor day at the New York Stock Exchange in October 2025, when CEO Michael Amalfitano was pressed about entering the large-cabin business jet sector he did not rule out the idea.
“You have to do it very thoughtfully. If we’re going to unlock at least the potential of disrupting another market yet again,” said Amalfitano, according to AIN. “When you poke those bears ahead of us, you cannot show up with a me-too product. It has to have differentiation and disruptive characteristics, just like the Phenom and Praetor family, such that the marketplace will accept it and use that space.”
Whatever it is, one must applaud Embraer’s skillful marketing efforts, and there is sure to be plenty of interest in the event.
