Etihad Airways is to double its Airbus A380 service to Paris this summer, making the French capital one of only a handful of destinations worldwide to receive two daily flights on the double-decker aircraft.

Starting July 1, 2026, the airline will operate triple-daily service between Zayed Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), with two of the three flights operated by the A380 and a third by a Boeing 787-9.

The expanded schedule will run through October 24, 2026.

More premium capacity to Paris

The two daily A380 departures from Abu Dhabi have been timed for morning and afternoon travel, catering to both business and leisure passengers. A third daily frequency on the 787-9 adds further options, with all three services offering First, Business, and Economy cabins.

Passengers on the A380 will have access to Etihad’s flagship onboard products, including The Residence, a three-room suite that remains the only one of its kind in commercial aviation. The aircraft also features First Apartments and spacious Business and Economy seating.

Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad Airways, said that the expansion reflects strong demand for the Paris route.

“Paris is one of our most popular and most loved destinations, and this summer we are giving our guests more of what they love,” De said. “Flying double-daily on the A380 to Charles de Gaulle is a statement of confidence in one of the world’s great travel markets.”
