Eve Air Mobility and Moov Airways have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) for up to 30 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft to explore advanced air mobility (AAM) operations in Cabo Verde and Europe.
Announced on July 19, 2026, the agreement will see the companies assess how eVTOL aircraft could support tourism and regional transportation between the islands of Cabo Verde. Potential use cases will include sightseeing flights, shuttle services between airports, ports, and resorts, inter-island transport, medical missions, and infrastructure inspections.
According to the statement, the companies will initially evaluate operations on the islands of São Vicente, Santo Antão, Sal, Santiago (Praia), and Boa Vista.
“This LOI with Moov reflects Eve’s continued commitment to working with customers and partners that are building practical, high-value advanced air mobility use cases,” Johann Bordais, CEO of Eve Air Mobility, said in the statement.
The agreement adds to Eve’s growing pipeline of letters of intent and purchase agreements as the Embraer-backed company prepares its eVTOL aircraft for commercial service. While non-binding, such agreements are a key part of Eve’s commercialization strategy.
The announcement follows several recent developments for Eve. Earlier in July, the company said its flight test campaign had progressed beyond initial hover testing and is preparing to enter transition flight evaluation, while production of six conforming prototypes is expected to begin later this year. In February 2026, Eve also converted a previous commitment from AirX into a firm order for two eVTOL aircraft, while continuing to expand its customer base through additional letters of intent globally.
The Moov Airways AG agreement is the latest addition to Eve’s expanding portfolio of commercial partnerships.
