Argentinean low-cost carrier Flybondi has signed orders with both Boeing and Airbus for up to 35 narrowbody aircraft as part of a $1.7 billion investment.
On November 2, 2025, Flybondi announced that an order was placed with Airbus for 15 A220-300s, with an option for five more, and a contract was sealed with Boeing for 10 737 MAX 10s, also with an option for five more.
In a statement, Flybondi confirmed that the airline will be the first operator of the Airbus A220-300s in Latin America.
The announcement comes just days after Aerolíneas Argentinas released plans to acquire four Airbus A330neo and 14 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.

We aim to incorporate a balanced mix of aircraft from both manufacturers, and for this, we have the strong commitment and support of our new American investor. This growth plan strengthens our future as a company and boosts the entire regional airline industry.” said Mauricio Sana, CEO of Flybondi.

He added: “Flybondi arrived to change the way people fly in Argentina, and now we are ready to bring this model to the rest of Latin America.”
This $1.7 billion investment is being led by COC Global Enterprise, the main investor in Flybondi with the first brand new Airbus jets expected to arrive in 2027, with completion in 2029.
The first Boeing 737 MAX 10s are scheduled to arrive in 2027 with a phased delivery schedule concluding in 2030. Boeing’s 737 MAX 10 is yet to be certified.
Flybondi claims that the new arrivals could see the number of aircraft in its fleet increase by 230% in the next four years.

According to Flybondi the A220-300s will be built at the Airbus facility in Alabama and the Boeing MAX 10s in Reston.
Flybondi currently operates a fleet of 15 aircraft including 14 Boeing 737-800 NGs on dry lease and a single Airbus A320 aircraft in ACMI mode.
As well as Argentina Flybondi operates across Paraguay, Peru, and Brazil and flies to 16 domestic destinations
These include Buenos Aires, Bariloche, Corrientes, Córdoba, Jujuy, Mendoza, Neuquén, Posadas, Iguazú, Salta, Santiago del Estero, San Juan, Tucumán, Puerto Madryn, Ushuaia, and El Calafate.
