Horizon Air, the regional carrier of Alaska Airlines, revealed a new special livery inspired by Disney and Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story 5 at Portland International Airport (PDX) on May 29, 2026.

The livery is painted on an Embraer 175, registration N659QX, and features original characters Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie alongside new tech toy characters from the film, including Lilypad, Snappy, Atlas, and Smarty Pants.

Floating clouds run along the fuselage, with playful callouts such as “Saddle Up, It’s Takeoff Time!” and “Ready for Takeoff, Partner.” Forky and Karen Beverly appear on the winglets.

The aircraft has been named “To 45 and Beyond,” a reference to Buzz Lightyear’s catchphrase and a nod to Horizon Air’s upcoming 45th anniversary of operations across Alaska Airlines’ regional network.

“I couldn’t think of a more special way to celebrate Horizon’s history with our guests than to bring out the kid in all of us,” said Horizon Air President and CEO Andy Schneider. “Forty-five years of service is a meaningful milestone, and I couldn’t be prouder of our people who, each and every day, put their best foot forward to deliver the industry’s best and most caring travel experience.”

Toy Story 5, directed by Academy Award winner Andrew Stanton and featuring the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack, is set to release exclusively in theaters on June 19, 2026.

A growing fleet of Disney-themed aircraft

The Toy Story 5 livery is the tenth Disney-themed aircraft in the Alaska Air Group fleet.

Previous special liveries include “Friendship and Beyond at the Disneyland Resort,” which was Alaska’s first Toy Story design, along with “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer,” “Mickey’s Toontown Express,” and the “Star Wars Transport to the Disneyland Resort,” which was recently updated with Mandalorian and Anzellan characters to tie in with Disney’s latest film, Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu.

The Disney livery program has become a recurring feature of Alaska’s branding, with each new aircraft timed to a major Disney theatrical release or theme park milestone. Horizon’s “To 45 and Beyond” is the first of the series to appear on the regional carrier’s Embraer 175 fleet rather than on Alaska’s mainline Boeing aircraft.
