LEVEL, the low-cost long-haul airline of the International Airlines Group (IAG), has announced the launch of a new nonstop route between Barcelona (BCN) and Lima (LIM), Peru.
While the airline announced the new service on December 22, 2025, the launch has come as no surprise. LEVEL’s plans to connect the Latin American country to Europe were revealed by Peruvian Minister of Transports and Communications, Aldo Prieto earlier in the month.
The service will start on June 3, 2026, and will be operated thrice weekly, departing Barcelona on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 13.55 and arriving in Lima at 19.50, all times local.
The Barcelona-based carrier plans to deploy Airbus A330-200 on this route. These aircraft are fitted with a two-class cabin with 42 Premium Economy and 260 Economy Class seats.
With this new announcement, LEVEL continues to pursue its growth strategy out of the Catalan capital. The low-cost carrier operates a fleet of seven Airbus A330-200s and is expecting an eighth aircraft of the same type to join the fleet in 2026.
Step by step, LEVEL is also increasing its operational autonomy within IAG. In December 2025, approximately one year after obtaining its own Air Operator Certificate (AOC), the airline started operating under its own IATA code (LL) rather than continuing to use the Iberia one.
