Philippine Airlines will resume nonstop flights between Manila and Dubai starting October 2, 2026, restoring direct service between the Philippines and one of the Middle East’s major travel and commercial hubs.
The airline announced on June 29, 2026, that it will initially operate four weekly flights on the route, with plans to increase frequency to daily service as conditions allow.
Schedule and fares
Flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
PR 658 will depart Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) at 12:50 local time, arriving at Dubai International Airport (DXB) at 18:00 local time. The return service, PR 659, will depart Dubai at 19:45 local time and arrive in Manila at 09:10 local time the following day.
To mark the resumption, Philippine Airlines is offering an introductory roundtrip fare starting at US $650 for a limited period, subject to terms and conditions.
Why the Manila-Dubai route is significant
The route serves a significant population of overseas Filipinos living and working in the United Arab Emirates. Dubai also functions as a connecting point for travelers heading to destinations across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
The resumption comes as visa access to the UAE has become easier for some Filipino travelers. Eligible Philippine passport holders can now obtain a visa on arrival if they hold a valid visa, residence permit, or Green Card from the United States, the European Union or Schengen Area, Australia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Canada, or New Zealand.
