Vertical Aerospace has named Sigma Air Mobility, a subsidiary of Luxembourg-based executive aviation operator Luxaviation Group, as a new customer for its future Valo eVTOL.
The announcement was made on July 19, 2026, just before the Farnborough International Airshow, where Vertical Aerospace’s eVTOL demonstrator is expected to conduct its first public electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) display.
While the British eVTOL developer has not specified the number of eVTOL aircraft ordered by Sigma Air Mobility, it did disclose that the two firms have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a collaboration framework to assess the operational and commercial readiness for the Valo’s rollout.
In a press releases announcing the agreement, Vertical Aerospace reiterated its collaborative approach to design, which was previously highlighted by the company’s CEO, Stuart Simpson, in an exclusive Executive Spotlight interview with AeroTime in April 2026.
Vertical takes pride that its Valo eVTOL is the result of having actively involved prospective customers in helping shape the final design of the aircraft and its features.
