Touching letter for pilots of thanks written by an airline passenger thanking for getting her home safely to her family has gone viral. The handwritten note was posted on Twitter by Jai Dillon who describes himself as an airline pilot operating the B737. He shared the note alongside the message "A letter given to a colleague from a passenger onboard his aircraft. Providing proof that we're all in this together." Letter references the recent Germanwings tragedy in the French Alps, which claimed 150 lives, and is described by its author as an attempt to “reach out” and “extend a compassionate hand”.

She says : “At the end of the day, we are all humans just trying to live this roller coaster of a life we have been handed. I understand an event so horrific as this one affects those with your responsibility more than others, and maybe sometimes a kind word, random but heartfelt, can make a difference". In the second paragraph passenger called Bethanie thanks pilot for taking her home and doing it safely. "I've had a wonderful flight and hope you have too.
