Police Helicopter Smashes With Two People Inside

For someone it was supposed to be a nice sunny day with relaxation in the Little Rock Police Department. But as we like to say "the weather changed it all". The plans of people went in a different direction after witnessing a moment of a police helicopter smashing down to the ground.

The Little Rock Police Department surveillance camera in Little Rock, Arkansas, captured a dramatic moment with a helicopter smashing down into the asphalt.

A man leaves the building and starts showing signals to the pilot as he notices that something is going wrong with the helicopter and the way it is taking off. But apparently the pilot misses them. And soon, after some moments, the helicopter crashes into the ground.

The pilot

Everything happened on Thursday at 11 a.m. and it was supposed to be a maintenance check.

Accident footage was released on Tuesday by LRPD (Little Rock Police Department). At first it looked like there were no serious injuries for the passengers. But the pilot who is already retired was injured.

The 2001 Bell TH-67 helicopter pilot was William Denio. His head was seriously hurt. Now he is in a stable condition but thankfully both passengers survived such a shocking accident.
