Two innovators made their jetpack flight
Two innovators made their jetpack flight. Jetmen Yves Rossy and Vince Reffet has taken the skies - they have released an amazing video of their synchronized jetpack flight high above Dubai and the surrounding desert. Leading innovator in the field of propelled human flight and professional pilot Yves Rossy created his own personal jetpack after years of experimentation and customization. Rossy is considered to be the first person in the world to have taken flight with a jet-propelled wing.
"I felt I was flying. It is just an insane feeling," one of the jetmen said in the video. This just-released 12 minute video was shot by a chase plane and GoPros attached to the jetmen. Here men soar over the futuristic city, humming over Dubai’s wild fantastic geometry and hitting up the city’s most significant tower, the Burj Dubai. This flight represents the experience that innovators Yves Rossy and Vince Reffet have collected during years of practice. They need the support of another aircraft to take flight, but can reach height and maintain flight for anywhere from 6 to 13 minutes at speeds between 180 and 300 km/h.
