Global Sales Director

We are looking for an experienced, talented and international Sales Director who is self-motivated with a proven track record of global sales. You’ll be responsible for supporting and developing our sales team in delivering our annual sales targets across the globe.  Reporting to the CEO, your main duties will include designing our strategic sales plans, enhancing our product range and sales potential and developing our reach and international footprint.  In addition to being an excellent communicator and leader, our preferred candidate will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and planning skills. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Your main task will be to lead and motivate our sales team, developing customer service and our targeted approach, always enhancing our abilities to promote multiple product lines and identify growth market opportunities.  You will design and implement an international strategic plan to reach our ambitious sales targets, cultivating lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty and better understand their business needs and goals. 
  • You’ll produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives and reports, sharing detailed forecasting with the executive committee.  You will be experienced in assessing costs, competition and supply and demand, assisting in developing the price points, volumes and margins for our range of existing and new products. 
  • You will establish an excellent sales training program to train new and existing employees and work across the business to design innovative sales and marketing campaigns to promote and sell our developing range of products.  Your excellent communication skills will help us to manage on-going communications with potential partners and clients around the globe, as well as enhancing our internal collaborations across all teams within the business. 



  • 5+ years of experience in a similar international sales role 
  • Experience leading international sales team within a matrix structure  
  • Knowledge and previous experience of the digital media/aviation sectors is beneficial but not essential   
  • Strong analytical abilities and results focus 
  • Experience of building business development with industry connections and networks 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation and negotiation skills, creativity 
  • Computer and modern business practice literacy 
  • Ability to partner with internal leaders to develop business strategy, marketing, finance etc. 
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices. 
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
