LATAM Group, pax up by 1.7% in April 2017
LATAM Airlines Group and its subsidiaries, Latin America airline group reports passenger increase of 1.7% its preliminary monthly traffic statistics for April 2017 compared to April 2016.
According to the airline, the system passenger traffic increased by 1.7% while capacity increased by 0.2%. As a result, the Company’s load factor for the month increased 1.2 points to 83.9%. International passenger traffic accounted for approximately 59% of the month’s total passenger traffic.
The group accounted similar passenger increase in January 2017, when system passenger traffic enlarged by 1.4% while capacity increased by 0.8% compared to January 2016.
However, the airline group’s performance inMarch was twice as good as in April. System passenger traffic increased by 2.1% while capacity increased by 1.2% in March 2017, compared to March 2016.
