117 IATP announce conference in Riga, Latvia in March 2018
The 117 IATP Conference, supported by Diamond Sponsor, Storm Aviation, and Silver Sponsors, Thales and GECAS, will be held from March 10 to 14, 2018, in Riga Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & Spa Hotel.
IATP organizes two Conferences every year before the Airline Seasons start. The bi-annual conferences are working meetings, limited to the Airline and Associate (service providers) Members, during which the delegates negotiate terms and conditions for pooling contracts regarding Spares Parts, Aircraft Recovery, Equipment and Line Maintenance support for the forthcoming season. It also enables Airline Members to review all the technical issues affecting the air transport market and receive an update concerning the status of new aircraft entry into service.
- More than 400 delegates from the 109 Airline and 35 Associate Members registered for the conference.
- The new version of the Standard Ground Handling Agreement, published in January 2018, will be introduced.
- Representatives of IATA and its Aviation Ground Service Agreement (AGSA) Technical Group will attend the 117th Conference to identify future opportunities with IATP.
- The participants will benefit from the social events organized after the business day to do some networking and expand their contacts.
