IATP holds 118th conference in Yogyakarta, Indonesia
On October 6-10, 2018, the International Airlines Technical Pool (IATP) hosted its 118th conference, discussing and finalizing spare parts, Aircraft Recovery equipment and line maintenance support agreements for the upcoming season.
Besides the above mentioned agreements, the participants also reviewed technical issues affecting the air transport operations, including consequences of Brexit on engineers’ certification and EASA New Basic Regulation.
Hosted by GMF AeroAsia in collaboration with Garuda Indonesia, the conference was attended by approximately 400 Airline and Associate Member representatives. The event held familiarization sessions about SGHA, EPAS and IATP Pooling, and provided an update concerning the state of the art aircraft types being introduced - A320 Family, especially the A220, the A330 Neo, the B737Max, B777X and B787-10 Dreamliner.
The next event is planned on March 9-13, 2019 in Athens, Greece.
