A Garuda Indonesia Airbus A330 became stuck in the mud off a runway after landing in Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport (UPG) in Makassar, Indonesia.
The Airbus A330 operated flight GA610 from Soekarno Hatta International Airport (CGK) in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Garuda Indonesia wide-body landed at the airport at 5:07 PM local time (UTC +8). Allegedly, the nose gear of the aircraft slipped when it was turning away from the runway and the A330 ended up on the grass.
Reports claim there were 26 people onboard the Garuda Indonesia aircraft. No one was injured during the incident.

Flightradar24.com data indicates that after the A330 landed at UPG, two flights have departed from the adjacent runway. Sriwijaya Air flight SJ589 departed for Jakarta, while Citilink flight QG332 left for Haluoleo Airport (KDI) in Kendari, Indonesia.
Several flights have also arrived at the airport, flight tracking website data shows.
AeroTime News approached Garuda Indonesia and Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of Indonesia for comment. Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport (UPG) representatives informed that an investigation is underway.
