After announcing cabin crew opening,  SunExpress, a joint-venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, has experienced a record number of applications, Airport Haber reports.

The company expects to hire no more than 140 cabin crew members, but the total number of applicants has already surpassed 21,000.

SunExpress is seeking to hire both male and female flight attendants in the 20-to-35 age group. The hiring process will be finalized in January 2018.

Established in 1989, SunExpress is based in Antalya, operating scheduled and chartered flights to more than a 100 destinations in Europe, Asia and North Africa.
