By purchasing the Duet, customers will be provided with a “truly seamless experience from road to sky.” According to Embraer, the chance to buy a private jet and a sports car is offered for the first time in history.

“In the spirit of delivering the ultimate customer experience, we are fusing two of the most notable brands in the aerospace and automotive industries, bringing together the pinnacle in production sports cars with the market benchmark in light jets, once again proving that we don’t simply follow trends — we create them,” stated President and CEO of Embraer Executive Jets Michael Amalfitano.

“As part of our cooperation, we used the know-how of both brands to work jointly on a unique pair of vehicles that are equally attractive for the customer group of jet and sports car owners,” added Vice President of Individualization and Classic of Porsche Alexander Fabig.

The two luxury vehicles will feature an identical paint scheme on the outside that is painted on both the Phenom 300E and the Porsche 991 S Turbo. The paint was applied by hand on both, something that “is unique to this project and reflective of the Phenom 300E paint process.”

However, the two will not only share the same livery but also identical interior details. For example, the Duet logo will be debossed on the seat headrests on the aircraft and the car, representing lift and downforce, respectively. The logo will also be visible on the aircraft fuselage, speaker grills and mounted near the main door. Customers will also know which number out of the ten they have received, with the option to choose the location of the blue chip.

Homages to one another does not stop there. Seats onboard the business jet will be modeled after the 991 Turbo S seats, featuring red pull straps, a Speed Blue accent stitch, and carbon fiber shrouds to “create a shared connection.” Even the cockpit seats were redesigned to match the seats of the Porsche.

In the 10 Porsche vehicles, the steering wheel features a color combination to match the yoke of the Phenom 300E, in addition to Chalk Alcantara trim roof lining, and a stopwatch inspired by instrumentation in the flight displays onboard the jet.

Even if one were to wish to order only the Embraer Phenom 300E or the Porsche 911 Turbo S, they would not be able to do so, as the Duet is, well, sold as a Duet. If you are still not persuaded by the numerous matching details and the romantic thought of owning an almost identically designed private jet and a sports car, the deal is sweetened with “a custom Duet logo luggage set with a pilot’s bag and two weekenders, as well as a special edition Porsche Design 1919 Globe timer UTC titanium-case watch.” In terms of price, an Embraer representative told AeroTime News that the pair will setback customers approximately $10.9 million.

Customers are able to order the pair as of right now. Deliveries are set to begin in 2021.
