British Airways is on its way to complete its order of four Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which it signed up for during Farnborough Airshow in July 2019. Its second Triple Seven arrived in London, United Kingdom on November 6, 2020.

The newest aircraft in the British Airways fleet, the 777-300ER (registered as G-STBN) departed from Everett Paine Field (PAE), United States at 4:33 PM local time (UTC -8) on November 5, 2020, and arrived in London Heathrow Airport (LHR) at 9:03 AM local time (UTC +0) on November 6, 2020. The Triple Seven departed for its first flight out of Boeing’s factory in Everett on October 23, 2020.

British Airways shook hands with Boeing during the Farnborough Airshow in July 2019, initially signing up for three additional 777s. Albeit by not much, the order grew to four aircraft when the Heathrow-based airline ordered 42 Boeing 777X jets, the newest derivative of the Triple Seven, in February 2019.

All four new 777-300ERs will be operated via an operating lease, leased from Novus Aviation Capital. G-STBM has already joined the British airline on October 1, 2020, and included British Airways’ new and updated Club Suite business class seat. With the delivery of the G-STBN on November 6, 2020, Boeing has 17 remaining passenger-version 777s on order, in addition to 42 Boeing 777F freighters.
