Hawaiian Airlines, pax up by 2.8% in August, 2017
Hawaiian Holdings, a parent company of Hawaiian Airlines, reported its traffic statistics for the month of August and year to date, revealing passenger traffic increase of 2.8% in August and 3.2% year-to-date.
The passenger traffic increased 2.8% from 996,014 in August 2016 to 1,023,482 in August 2017, while revenue passenger miles (RPM) increased by 1%. Available seat miles (ASM) decreased by 1.1%, while load factor grew by 1.8 percentage points.
Simultaneously, the year-to-date results reveal an increase in passenger traffic by 3.2% (from 7,437,799 to 7,678,245), RPM increase of 5.4%, ASM up by 2.7% and load factor increase by 2.2 percentage points.
