BOC, 26 lease commitments in Q3 2017
BOC Aviation announced its operational transactions for the third quarter ended 30 September 2017, revealing its portfolio of 302 owned and managed aircraft, with an average aircraft age of 3.2 years and an average remaining lease term of 7.8 years for owned aircraft fleet, weighted by net book value.
The company also disclosed its order book of 1971 aircraft, stating that in the third quarter of 2017 it took delivery of nine aircraft, added 26 lease commitments, sold two owned and two managed aircraft. In total, the company managed fleet comprised 34 aircraft and had a customer base of 76 airlines in 33 countries in the owned and managed portfolios.
100% of the 78 aircraft scheduled for delivery in 2017, and more than 90% of the 48 aircraft scheduled for delivery in 2018, have been committed for lease. Aircraft utilization was 100% for the third quarter ended 30 September 2017.
