Engineering Holding switches to brand name S7 Technics
Engineering Holding, Russian company specializing in aviation MRO services, announced a transition to umbrella brand S7. The Holding and its subsidiaries S7 Engineering and Sibir Technic will now operate under single brand – S7 Technics.
“The decision to adopt the umbrella brand for the maintenance business is largely dictated by the company’s plans to further expand on the European and Asian markets”, the company announced in a statement. “Under the new brand of S7 Technics the Holding intends to continue its massive changes – developing new business directions, improving the efficiency and quality of the business processes, expanding its geographical outreach and growing partnerships”.
“We are confident that the new brand will help us be more identifiable and intelligible to our customers. It is important, because in the framework of our long-term strategy we will continue the course towards strengthening our relations with industry partners – both in Russia, and beyond,” said Igor Panshin, director for sales and planning at Engineering Holding.
Engineering Holding was established in 2005 following a decision to unbundle the Aircraft Maintenance Department of Sibir Airlines into an independent entity. Traditionally subsidiaries of the holding carry out all the necessary MRO on the S7 Group’s fleet “as far as their capabilities stretch”. The company provides maintenance of Airbus A310/A320/A320neo, Boeing 737/757/767, ATR 42/72, CRJ-100/200, SSJ-100, and Embraer E170; a “wide range” of maintenance procedures on CFM56 engines and has an aircraft painting shop.
