Luxury airline beOnd announced on March 23, 2026, that it will be connecting Male (MLE), in the Maldives, with Paris and London from December 2026.
In response to AeroTime, a spokesperson for the airline stated that the choice of airport at both the French and British capitals has not yet been confirmed. The new services will be operated by beOnd existing fleet which includes Airbus A319 and A321 aircraft configured in an all-business cabin configuration for 44 and 68 seats, respectively.
The launch of these two new routes is also subject to governmental approval, although they will shortly be bookable online and on the global distribution systems (GDS).
In parallel to this European network expansion, beOnd is also planning to increase the capacity it offers between Male and Zurich (ZRH) and Munich (MUC) by adding three and two additional weekly frequencies, respectively.
All of beOnd’s European services are operated with an intermediate stop in the Middle East, which, until recently, was either Riyadh (RUH) or Dubai Al Maktoum (DWC).
In a press statement the airline said that given the ongoing airspace disruptions in the region, “All operations are conducted in coordination with aviation authorities and follow internationally approved air corridors, with safety remaining the airline’s highest priority.”
