Business class-only airline La Compagnie announced on June 17, 2026, that its seasonal nonstop service between Nice-Côte d’Azur (NCE) and Newark (EWR) will be extended to year-round this year.

La Compagnie has traditionally operated a seasonal service between the two cities during the summer months, complementing its year-round services to Newark from both Paris-Orly (ORY) and Milan Malpensa (MXP).

During the summer season of 2026 the Nice to Newark service is operated with a twice-weekly frequency, departing the US on Mondays and Fridays at 20:30 and arriving in the French Riviera at 10:20 the next day, all times local. US-bound flights depart Nice on Tuesdays and Fridays at 12:00, arriving at the New Jersey airport at 15:30.

According to Christian Vernet, Chairman and CEO of La Compagnie, the extension of this seasonal service speaks to the popularity of the French Riviera to US travelers as well as to the latent demand in southern France for direct links to New York.

The new service, which will run up to four times per week, will be operated by Airbus A321LR aircraft configured with an all-business class cabin for just 76 passengers.

This will be the only nonstop service between Nice and the US outside of the summer season. During the summer months, both Delta Air Lines and United Airlines operate seasonal services between Nice and New York JFK and Newark, respectively.

Other US airports that have direct services during the summer season include Atlanta-Hartsfield (ATL), served by Delta Air Lines, Washington-Dulles (IAD), served by United Airlines and Philadelphia (PHL) by American Airlines. Air Canada and Air Transat also operate nonstop seasonal services between Nice and Montréal-Trudeau (YUL).

The last few years, Air France has also operated a limited number of services linking Nice to New York (JFK) and Los Angeles International during the Cannes Film Festival, which takes place in June.
