Singapore Airlines (SIA) has announced its new first, business, premium economy and economy long-haul products, to arrive from 2027.
On November 6, 2026, Singapore Airlines – repeatedly named as the world’s best carrier – laid down the gauntlet to the world’s leading premium airlines, aiming to raise the bar for what passengers can expect on long-haul routes
The airline is investing S$2 billion ($1.56 billion) on its new products, which will be progressively introduced from the second half of 2027 on its 41 retrofitted Airbus A350-900 and A350-900 ultra-long-range (ULR) aircraft and upcoming new Boeing 777-9 widebody fleet.
The new first, business, premium economy and economy cabins will feature across Singapore Airlines’ new fleet of Boeing 777-9 widebodies, while the retrofitted A350-900s will feature the new business-class seat and the A350-900ULR fleet both business and first-class cabins for the first time.

The first-class cabins are designed to offer a “luxurious private sanctuary,” featuring elegantly curved sliding doors for greater privacy and space, companion dining, and center seats that can be converted into a two-seater sofa – or, as SIA describes it, the “largest double bed in the sky”.
The first-class entertainment experience features a 32-inch 4K high-resolution touchscreen display and spatial audio technology.
Business class comes with full-grain premium leather upholstery with bespoke embroidery, layered textures, and metallic accents, as well as sliding privacy doors and electronically adjustable center dividers.

The full-flat bed measures 79 inches in length and up to 24 inches in width. Selected center seats can be configured as companion beds when the dividers are lowered.
The new premium economy class seat on the new Boeing 777-9s includes a four-way adjustable headrest and a leg rest with an adjustable footrest. A 40-inch seat pitch, full-grain premium upholstery and plush cushioning also feature.
According to Singapore Airlines, the new economy seat on the Boeing 777-9s focuses on the fundamentals that matter most on long-haul journeys.

These include wool-blend upholstery, ergonomic cushioning, a four-way adjustable headrest, and a redesigned seat reclining mechanism to provide greater knee and shin clearance.
‘While each cabin has been designed individually, they are united by the same ambition to make the experience more comfortable, flexible, and rewarding for our customers,” Lee Lik Hsin, CCO, Singapore Airlines, said. “Singapore Airlines’ next-generation long-haul cabin products will ensure that our customers travel more comfortably than before, and have greater control over their in-flight experience, whether they are working, dining, relaxing, or resting.”

You can find more information about the new cabins on the Singapore Airlines website.
