Philippine Airlines launches first nonstop Cebu-Guam flights using A321ceo

PAL Guam A321ceo

Philippine Airlines

Philippine Airlines (PAL) inaugurated the first nonstop flights between Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) and Guam’s Antonio B. Pon Wat Airport (GUM) on December 16, 2025. The new route marks a new chapter in connectivity between the Philippines’ Central Visayas region and the US western Pacific territory.

The launch ceremony at Mactan-Cebu International Airport brought together officials from PAL, Aboitiz InfraCapital GMCAC, the Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA), the Department of Tourism (DOT), and various travel industry representatives to commemorate the milestone.

The new route operates three times weekly using the Philippine flag carrier’s Airbus A321ceo aircraft. Flights from Cebu depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 21:40 local time, touching down in Guam at 03:25 local time. Return service from Guam to Cebu runs on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with a 05:15 departure and 06:50 arrival.

The Cebu-Guam service adds to PAL’s existing daily flights between Manila and Guam, providing travelers from the Visayas region with direct access to the US territory without routing through the capital.

The route is expected to facilitate both tourism and family visits, as Guam is home to a significant Filipino community and remains a popular destination for travelers from the Philippines.
