Following the well-received revamp of the La Première cabin earlier this year, Air France is now to extend the first-class service to four more cities, three of which are in the US.

Air France introduced the new La Première cabin in March 2025, with each luxury suite including nearly 3.5 square meters of space, plus a seat and a chaise longue that converts into a two-meter-long bed.

Spread across a generous five windows, each converted Boeing 777-300ER aircraft includes four suites with a thick, floor-to-ceiling curtain separating the guests.

The first Boeing 777-300ER departed Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) on April 3, 2025, for New York John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK). Since then, further destinations have been added, including Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Abidjan, Dubai, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Tokyo-Haneda and Washington, D.C.

On December 5, 2025, Air France announced that the La Première service would be available on flights from Paris to Atlanta, Boston, Houston and Tel Aviv.

Flights equipped with the La Première cabin will begin operating to Atlanta on March 29, 2026, and to Houston on July 6, 2026. Then, on July 20, 2026, the La Première cabin will be introduced on the Paris-Boston route.

Flights to Tel Aviv from Paris with La Première cabin will commence sooner, on December 15, 2025. All four destinations will offer daily services.

On December 5, 2025, Air France also announced that the airline had received its 50th Airbus A220, named ‘Valbonne’, plus its 40th Airbus A350, named ‘Noirmoutier-en-L’Île’.

The A220, registered F-HPNZ, was delivered on November 7, 2025, and entered commercial service on November 17, 2025, with a flight to London-Heathrow Airport (LHR).

Air France described the Airbus A220 as the “cornerstone” of its short- and medium-haul fleet renewal.

The 50th aircraft is the ninth Airbus A220 Air France has received since the beginning of the year, with three more expected by the end of 2025.

The new Airbus A350, registered F-HUVT, was delivered on November 20, 2025, and will join the airline’s long-haul operations in the coming days.

To date, 40 Airbus A350s are in service, including five delivered since the beginning of the year. A further delivery is planned by the end of 2025.

“Air France invests more than one billion euros each year in renewing its fleet and receives nearly two new aircraft per month – an unprecedented rate in the company’s history,” said an Air France spokesperson.
