Qatar Airways decision to move aircraft to Europe is perhaps one of the clearest indications so far of the threat the Iran war poses to the airline.
Teruel Airport was used by airlines to store aircraft during the COVID-19 Pandemic and is also known as one of Europe’s largest centres for maintenance.
According to an update on March 19, 2026, Qatar Airways is currently operating a limited number of flights until March 28, 2026.
