Bombardier has pushed back the deadline for bondholders to vote on proposed changes to the terms of its 7.35% debentures due 2026.

The Canadian aerospace company said the new deadline is April 10, 2026, at 17:00 Eastern time. The original consent solicitation was announced on March 16, 2026.

Bombardier is asking holders of the Canadian-dollar bonds to approve amendments to the terms of the debt. In exchange for their approval, bondholders who consent by the deadline will receive a payment of CAD 1.00 (US $0.73) for every CAD 1,000 (US $730) in principal they hold.

The window to withdraw consent has already closed. Bondholders who wanted to revoke their approval had until March 27, 2026 to do so. Those who have already submitted their consent do not need to take any further action.

Bombardier said it reserves the right to further amend or extend the terms of the solicitation. The company has retained Kingsdale Advisors to handle information and tabulation for the process, while RBC Capital Markets and TD Securities are acting as solicitation agents.

Bondholders are advised to check with their broker or financial institution, as internal deadlines for submitting instructions may be earlier than the official cutoff.

Bombardier, its agents, and affiliated parties have not made any recommendation on whether bondholders should consent to the proposed changes. The decision rests with individual holders.
