Air France is the flag carrier of France and one half of Air France-KLM, flying from its Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub to about 200 destinations with particular strength across Africa, the Americas and Asia. Founded in 1933, it carried the French art of travel into the jet age and remains the country's largest airline by far.
Under CEO Anne Rigail the airline is executing a deep fleet renewal, standardizing on the Airbus A350 for long-haul and the A220 in Europe, while moving upmarket: the La Premiere suite unveiled in 2025 is one of the most exclusive first-class products in the sky, part of a deliberate premium push that has lifted the group's results.
