Boeing has announced that so far in 2023 it has received orders for four Boeing Business Jets (BBJ), the executive VIP version of different models of Boeing commercial aircraft family.  

These four orders, which were placed by undisclosed customers, include two BBJ 787-8s and a BBJ 737-7 and an option for a BBJ 777-9. The name of each BBJ designates the related commercial aircraft that it has been derived from.  

BBJs are among the largest and most luxuriously fitted executive aircraft available in the current market, with some featuring bedrooms and showers as well as common rest areas. This category of aircraft is usually ordered by ultra-high-net-worth individuals, large corporations or governments. 

The aircraft manufacturer announced the order at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva Switzerland, the largest event of the executive jet industry in Europe, taking place between May 22 and 25, 2023.
