As Dubai is reopening for foreign visitors, Emirates airline is planning to bring back its flagship Airbus A380 to scheduled service. The first flights to Europe, namely to London Heathrow (UK) and Paris (France), will commence in mid-July 2020.

Following four months of grounding, Emirates Airbus A380 is returning to scheduled passenger services, the airline announced on June 24, 2020.

From July 15, the Gulf carrier is launching three routes to Europe, two of which (Paris and London) will be served by the superjumbo. Flights to Munich, Germany, are also launching on the same day, but similarly to the route to Dhaka, Bangladesh (commencing from June 24), will be operated with a Boeing 777-300ER.

“We are delighted to bring it back into the skies to serve our customers on flights to London and Paris from 15 July, and we are looking forward to gradually introduce our A380 into more destinations according to the travel demand on specific destinations,” said Adel Al Redha, Emirates’ Chief Operating Officer.

Emirates A380 return follows the news that Dubai is reopening to business and leisure visitors from July 7, 2020.
