Pratt & Whitney GTF powered Airbus A319neo makes 1st flight

Airbus A319neo test aircraft,  MSN 6464, made its first flight with Pratt & Whitney GTF engines on April 25, 2019.

The manufacturer expects to finish flight testing campaign and achieve the certification with the engines by the end of 2019.

The same aircraft had originally been powered with CFM LEAP-1A engines for that variant’s full certification test campaign which began on March 31, 2017 prior to FAA/EASA certification in December 2018, according to Airbus.
