Operating from its two main hubs in Paris Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam Airport Schipol, Air France KLM Martinair Cargo has resumed its services between Accra, Ghana and its second hub in Amsterdam.

As reported on Logistics Update Africa, the carrier has seen a steady expansion to its network over the last couple of weeks and as the number of its serviced destinations continues to grow, so does its frequency on the African continent. From its hub in Paris Charles de Gaulle the freighter is now serving a total of 5 African destinations namely; Abidjan, Bangui, Conakry, Nairobi and Nouakchott.

This increase in flight frequencies has also been experienced on other routes served by the carrier. From its hub in Amsterdam this includes routes to New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Toronto, Buenos Aires, Dubai, Mumbai, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Osaka and Tokyo and from its hub in Paris, routes to New York, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo have been resumed, with Bangkok, Panama City and St Martin to be added this week.

Gertjan Roelands, the carrier’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Distribution commented on Logistics Update Africa saying, “With the above changes, our regular range of wide-body belly and full-freighter services now includes 304 weekly frequencies to 67 destinations. Based on market demand, we will continue to grow our cargo network by adding frequencies or (re)opening destinations that are relevant for our customers.”
