Air France Boeing 777 diverts due to hydraulic leak

Air France Boeing 777-200 aircraft returned to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) shortly after the crew reported the aircraft suffered a possible hydraulic leak.

On December 29, 2020, a Boeing 777-200, registered as F-GSPK, performing flight AF-926 from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) to Libreville International Airport (LBV), Gabon,, diverted back to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport due to the possible leakage of the airplane’s central hydraulic system.

The aircraft with 194 passengers onboard landed safely on runway 26R at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport two hours after takeoff. After the Boeing 777-200 landed, the aircraft stopped on the taxiway to be towed in order to reduce higher damage, according to Aviation Herald.

Boeing 777-200 aircraft was replaced by Boeing 777-328 (ER), registered as F-GZNK. The aircraft reached Libreville International Airport with a delay of about 12 hours, according to Flightradar24.com.
