Pegasus Airlines Airbus A320 lands with tilted nose gear

Turkey’s Pegasus Airlines Airbus A320 experienced a nose gear problem during the landing at Basel Mulhouse-Freiburg EuroAirport (BSL), France. 

On January 26, 2021, an Airbus A320-251N aircraft, registered as TC-NBH, performing flight PC939 from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW) to Basel Mulhouse-Freiburg EuroAirport (BSL), suffered both nose tyre bursts due to tilted nose gear by 90 degree upon landing.

The Airbus A320 landed on runway 15 at Basel airport nearly three hours after takeoff. After  the landing, the aircraft remained on a taxiway to be towed, according to local media.

For the flight back, Pegasus Airlines Airbus A320-251N aircraft was replaced by the same type aircraft, registered as TC-NBS, the airline reportedly told the local media. The damaged aircraft is still on the ground at Basel airport, according to Flightradar24.com.
